Golden Hind was an English galleon best known for her privateering circumnavigation of the globe between 1577 and 1580, captained by Sir Francis Drake. Brixham is a fishing town and civil parish in the district of Torbay in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England, UK. Brixham is at the southern end of Torbay, across the bay from Torquay, and fishing and tourism are the major industries of the town.
