While walking the Wadi Dana Trail I came across this white goat that was impressed by the beautiful view that the area has to offer. The trail is located in the Dana Biosphere Reserve and is one of the most beautiful and popular hikes in Jordan. It starts in the small village of Dana and ends at the Feyan Eco lodge, approximately 14 kilometers down the road. The footpath will guide you through an amazing valley and is a must do hike while visiting Jordan.

Petra, built around 300 B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, is the world famous archaeological site in Jordan's southwestern desert. Capital of the Nabatean Kingdom it seamlessly blends Arab style with Hellenistic and Roman or Byzantine architecture. Accessed via Al Siq, a narrow canyon, it contains tombs and temples carved into the pink sandstone cliffs, hence the 'Rose City' The most famous and iconic structure is Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate Greek-style facade, also known as The Treasury

In Petra you can walk the main road, but there are also a lot of side paths you can take to discover this amazing ancient city. I came across this beautiful white goat when hiking the high place of sacrifice trail. On the background you can see the rock formations that surround the ancient city. To get the best impression of one of the seven world wonders I would definitely recommend to take out 2 days for exploring the city.
