A peaceful and beautiful public garden in the historical and medieval heart of Spoleto, in Umbria central Italy. Spoleto was one of the major centers of the Umbrian people, before being conquered and becoming an important colony of Rome. In medieval times it was subjected to the dominion of the Lombards, becoming a Duchy. Spoleto, one of the most visited medieval cities in Italy, hosts the Festival of the Two Worlds, a world-famous event that brings together hundreds of artists, musicians, classical dancers and opera singers every year. The Umbria region, considered the green lung of Italy for its wooded mountains, is characterized by a perfect integration between nature and the presence of man, in a context of environmental sustainability and healthy life. In addition to its immense artistic and historical heritage, Umbria is famous for its food and wine production and for the high quality of the olive oil produced in these lands.
