Robust tall, almost hairless perennial, to 2m; stems hollow, ridged, generally winged with purple. Leaves 2-3 pinnate, with oblong, sharply toothed segments; upper leaves reduced to large inflated sheaths and partially enclosing the developing umbels. Flowers white or pinkish, 2mm, in umbels 3-15cm across, with numerous rays; bracts few and soon falling, or absent. Fruit oval, (with 3 outstanding ridges) 4-5mm, with membranous wings.

Fly is one of the most common and annoying on Earth insects. If you take a close look at a fly, the first thing you can see her interesting eyes. Eye housefly consists of about 4000 hexagonal lenses (facets). Because of this, the fly has an almost circular field of view, that is, sees not only what is ahead of her, but also what is going on around and behind. (Although hyperopia fly can not boast.)

$The six-spot burnet (Zygaena filipendulae) is a day-flying moth of the family Zygaenidae. It is a common species throughout Europe.\nThe sexes are similar and have a wingspan of 30–40 mm (1.2–1.6 in). The fore wings are dark metallic green with six vivid red spots (sometimes the spots are merged causing possible confusion with other species such as thefive-spot burnet). Occasionally, the spots are yellow or even black. The hind wings are red with a blackish fringe. The species overwinters as a larva.\nThe larva is plump and hairy with variable markings, usually pale green with rows of black spots.
