Sometimes it is found in parks and gardens, along dykes and on heath land.\nFood plants: Several species of grass serve as larval food plant.\nFlying Season: The species flies in one generation in July and hibernates as a half-grown caterpillar.\n\nThis is not a very common Species in the described Habitats in the Netherlands.
