On the afternoon of September 2, Tho Vuc village, Ninh Khang commune (Vinh Loc, Thanh Hoa) held the Traditional Boat Racing Festival. The festival attracted a large number of people from inside and outside the locality to watch and cheer. The festival had 72 athletes on 18 boats, including 11 boats for men and 7 boats for women. The teams competed in 2 events: 3,000 m distance for men and women. The competitions were all exciting, with enthusiastic cheering from thousands of people in Vinh Loc district and tourists along both banks of the Ma River.
