The view from a hiking trail in the forest (or woods) of a Nordic Country (Norway) on a sunny day during summer (late August). The image is part of a series of Nordic hiking trail summer images. The image was captured at low ISO with a fast prime short telephoto/macro 105mm lens at f/2.8 and a full-frame mirrorless digital camera resulting in a large clean file suitable for large prints. Shallow depth-of-field (DOF) allows for ample copy space.

The fly agaric is known for being slightly poisonous and easy recognizable. The picture is taken at Kalvebod Fælled - Kalvebod Commons, which is a nature area and public park close to the center of Copenhagen

$Amanita muscaria (L. ex Fr.) Hooker, Fly Agaric, Amanite tue-mouches, Fausse Oronge Roter Fliegenpilz, Légyölö galoca. Cap 8–20cm across, globose or hemispherical at first then flattening, bright scarlet covered with distinctive white pyramidal warts which may be washed off by rain leaving the cap almost smooth and the colour fades. Stem 80–180×10–20mm, white, often covered in shaggy volval remnants as is the bulbous base, the white membranous ring attached to the stem apex sometimes becoming flushed yellow from the pigment washed off the cap. Flesh white, tinged red or yellow below the cap cuticle, Taste pleasant, smell faint. Gills free, white. Habitat usually with birch trees, Season late summer to late autumn. Common. Deadly poisonous. It contains many different toxins. Distribution, America and Europe (Source R. Phillips).\n\nThis is one of the easiest species to recognize and is quite common, mostly by Birch Trees, in the Netherlands.$

$Clitocybe nebularis (Batsch. ex Fr.) Kummer, Clouded Funnel or Clouded Agaric Nebelkappe Clitocybe nebuleux Cap 5-20cm across, convex at first becoming flattened or occasionally slightly depressed in the centre, the margin remaining inrolled, cloudy grey sometimes tinged with buff, darker at the centre and often covered with a white bloom. Stem 50-100 x 15-25mm, swollen towards the base, paler than the cap, fibrous and easily broken. Flesh thick, white, becoming hollow in the stem. Smell strong and sweetish. Gills decurrent, crowded, whitish later with a yellow flush. Spore print cream. \nHabitat in deciduous or coniferous woods often in rings or troops. Season late summer to late autumn. Common. Said to be edible but known to cause gastric upsets in many people. Distribution, America and Europe (source R. Phillips).\n\nThe Species is quite common in late Autumn in the Netherlands and forms regularly Fairy Rings.$
