Inside, the Sienese cathedral preserves countless artistic masterpieces created by Nicola Pisano and his son Giovanni, Michelangelo Buonarroti, the Pinturicchio, Donatello, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Duccio di Buoninsegna, Simone Martini, just to name a few of the best known.
