Statue of Gustav II Adolf with the Swedish flag in the background. Situated in central Gothenburg.

$Gothenburg, Sweden. Statue of the city founder king Gustav II Adolf. The statue was created by the Swedish sculptor Bengt Erland Fogelberg (1756-1854), which received the order to carry out the work in 1845. The first casting of the statue in Germany was failed before the end of 1847, and statue was re-cast. The ship with the second copy lost off the German coast in 1851. The third copy eventually came to Gothenburg in 1854, and was erected at the city's main square, which was renamed to the Gustaf Adolf's square. The inauguration of the monument took place on November 18, 1854. The inscription on the pedestal reads: \$

Old bronze statue in the center of Stockholm, Sweden

The danish writer Hans Christian Andersen (1805-75) is world famous primarily for his fairy tales. Various statues are made of him. This one is placed in Kings Garden in the center of Copenhagen, near Rosenborg Castle. The statue is made by the danish scupltor August Saabye in 1877 two years after the writers death.

Oliver Cromwell (25 April 1599 to 3 September 1658) was an English military and political leader best known in England for his involvement in making England into a republican Commonwealth and for his later role as Lord Protector of England, Scotland and Ireland. Goiânia, Goias, Brazil – December 04, 2021: Photo of the statue that is right in the middle of Praça do Bandeirante in Goiania. Bandeirante Square in Goiania. The monument to the bandeirante, symbol of the square, was inaugurated on November 9, 1942. The monument was created by the plastic artist Armando Zago in response to the request of the Academic Center XI de Agosto of the Faculty of Law of São Paulo, to be donated to the people Goiás. The bronze sculpture is three and a half meters high and portrays the pioneer Bartolomeu Bueno da Silva in full body, holding a baton in his hands and armed with a blunderbuss.
