London, England - October 4, 2011: Two traffic marshalls directing a truck and opening a barrier at the construction site of 'The Shard', an iconic new building being erected in London Bridge Quarter, Southwark, London. When complete in 2012, it will be the tallest building in the European Union. The Shard was designed by Renzo Piano to replace an older office block next to London Bridge Station. When finished, it will include offices, an hotel, apartments and restaurants as well as public viewing areas which will provide spectacular views of London.
