$Georg Stage is a Danish full-rigged training ship built in 1934 moored at Holmen in Copenhagen, Denmark.\nSince the 1690'ies Holmen in Copenhagen was the Naval Station with piers, shipyards and storage facilities. As a military facility it was completely closed to the public. In 1993 the naval station was closed and converted into an attractive district with housing, restaurants, cafés and a wealth of schools for the creative arts. In 2005 the new Danish National Opera House on Holmen was inaugurated.$

The Jadran is a three-masted barquentine built in 1931 in Hamburg, Germany, originally commissioned for the Royal Yugoslav Navy as a training ship. Measuring about 60 meters in length, she has served for decades as a sail-training vessel for naval cadets, first under Yugoslavia and today with the Montenegrin Navy. Homeported in Tivat, she is a well-known sight at Porto Montenegro and along the Adriatic coast. The Jadran has taken part in numerous international regattas and goodwill visits, making her one of the most recognizable historic sailing ships in the region.
