The Pinal County Airpark in Marana, Arizona, functions as a boneyard for civilian commercial aircraft as well as airliner storage, reconfiguration, and reclamation because the low humidity desert is an ideal storage environment.
The Douglas Aircraft DC-3 reflects the golden age of flying and are truly one of aviation history's celebrated aircraft.  This aircraft is in the Trans World Airlines (TWA) livery scheme.  The image is black and white evoking a bygone era. The view is low left front quarter looking up with clouds on the horizon in the distance. Monochrome imagery never goes out of style.
