The Oppian Hill is the southern spur of the Esquiline Hill one of the Seven Hills of Rome, Italy. It is separated from the Cispius on the north by the valley of the Suburra, and from the Caelian Hill on the south by the valley of the Colosseum. The Oppius and the Cispius together form the Esquiline plateau just inside the line of the Servian Wall

$Colosseum (in Italian: Colosseo), also known as Amphitheater Flavian (in Latin: Amphitheatrum Flavium; in Italian: Amphitheater Flavio), is an oval amphitheater located in the city center of Rome, capital of Italy. Built with concrete and sand, it is the largest amphitheater ever built and is located to the east of the Roman Forum.\n\nConstruction began under Emperor Vespasian in A.D. 72 and was completed in 1980, under the regime of his successor and heir, Titus. Other changes were made during Domitian's reign (81-96). These three emperors are known as the Flavian dynasty and the amphitheater was named in Latin in this way because of its association with the family name (Flavius).$
