It's amazing to see the wall of blue ice standing right in front of the boat. Grey glacier is one of the largest glaciers. It's well worth the wind and cold to see it up close.

Telephoto lens allows getting a close look at the glacier. In fact this photo is of thousands of square feet of the front surface. The vertical crevices and the horizontal stripes are huge. No place for a human!

In Patagonia, Chile, we traveled the Fjords by sailboat. We then hiked various hills to capture magnificent views. In this journey, we got extremely close to a massive glacier and captured its beauty along its stunning surroundings. This scene specifically is so special because of the various layers. We were lucky enough to capture blue skies being reflected by the still water. Additionally, the thin sheet of ice acts as a separating layer from the water and shore.
