L 64-78cm. WS 130-160cm.\nBreeds on tundra in the far northeast, migrating to winter in W, C and SE Europe; birds breeding in Greenland winter largely in Ireland and SW Scotland.\n\nThis is a quite common Species in the Netherlands during the Winter Season. They feed on grassland in fast numbers.
