Madagascar Fire Toad Vakona Forest
An Endangered (IUCN 3.1) Atelopus Seminiferus toad is seen on a moss covered branch. This toad is endemic to Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and rivers.  This toad is rarely seen in the wild. The pattern colors range from black to white and orange.  This toad is only 5 cm long.  In this photo the frog is wild.

A Atelopus seminiferus nominal toad couple is seen mating on a moss log.  This endangered toad (IUCN 3.1) can only be found in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru.  This small toad is dark black on top and bright red in the belly.  In this photo you can see a small male and larger female adult toad.  The toads appear to be muscular.

In this photo, a poison arrow frog called Ranitomeya Imitator is shown.  This frog morph is from the lowlands of Peru.  The amphibian in the photo is seen on a red and yellow heliconia flower.  The frog has blue dotted legs and feet, while the body is black, yellow and orange.  This is a very small colorful and rare frog found only in Peru.  This frog was found and photographed in the wild.
