Powwows are celebrations where First Nations gather to honour and share their rich heritage and traditions with music, dance and beautifully vibrant regalia. There were vendors with handmade leather work, drums, jewelry, t-shirts 'every child matters', bannock, salmon. The general public is welcome.

Malibu, California. April 6, 2024.  Chumash Day Pow Wow and Inter-tribal Gathering. The Malibu Bluffs Park is celebrating 24 years of hosting the Annual Chumash Day Powwow.
This Powwow was celebrated on the Capilano Reserve, West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 8 July, 2017. The Squamish Nation's 30th Annual Powwow was a gathering of First Nations communities to honour their culture, share, respect, dance and drum. Their heritage is respected by all ages.
Native American traditional clothing is often made from natural materials like, leather, fur, feathers, and woven textiles.
