Lantana camara, commonly called lantana or shrub verbena, also known as big-sage, red-sage, white-sage and tick berry, is a species of flowering plant, which is native to Central and South America. It has spread to the world and is considered to be a noxious weed in many frost-free, tropical areas where it can rapidly spread to form dense thickets. It bears small tubular shaped flowers, which each have four petals forming clusters. The blooming time is from late spring to autumn in temperate areas.\nFlowers come in many different colors, including red, yellow, white, pink, orange and purple.

Photo showing some annual orange nasturtium flowers that have been planted in a shared allotment garden. The nasturtiums have been planted as companion plants, so that they will attract aphids away from the fruit bushes and vegetables - a 'trap crop'. Of note, nasturtium flowers are edible and are often used to decorate salads. The leaves of the plants are covered in water droplets / dew drops, remaining from the early morning dew.
