Main religious building after the Duomo dei Santi Mariano and Giacomo (Cathedral of Saints Marian and James), this church was built around the year 1000 near the pre-existing Benedictine Abbey. At the beginning of the 13th century, the building was enlarged and transformed into a Gothic style, while in 1519 the church and the abbey were transformed into a Renaissance style.
