Breeding and molting occurs throughout the year, with alternating peaks for molting and reproduction. \nLobsters are among the most priced seafood delicacies enjoying a special demand in international markets. Scyllarid lobsters represent a notable portion of global lobster production. However the prices of slipper lobsters are usually lower than those of local spiny lobsters; this is the case in the Philippines, where the price of Thenus orientalis is lower than that of spiny lobsters. \nThis specimen was encountered in the Lembeh Strait, Indonesia \n1°28'47.196 N 125°14'12.42 E at 15m depth by night$
