The Psoralea pinnata is an evergreen shrub or small tree with narrow needle-like leaves. It is a species of the Fabaceae family ( or pea and bean family). They bloom with blue, lilac  and white pea shaped flowers, clustered at the end of the branches and the flowers are much loved by bees and other insects. I took this picture on the Cape Peninsula
