Tasselled Wobbegong Eucrossorhinus dasypogon occurs in Eastern Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Northern Australia. This ovoviviparous species can reach more than 3.5m length, common length is less than 2m. The tough skin is used sometimes for leather. Tasselled Wobbegong is threatened by extensive coral reef habitat destruction (pollution and dynamite fishing), as well as expanding fisheries. A considerable section of its habitat is protected in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This specimen lies at the sandy bottom in an outer reef east of Kri Island. This shark species is primarily nocturnal. It\

The crocodile flathead, Cymbacephalus beauforti, is a species of marine fish in the family Platycephalidae, the flatheads. It is found in the Western Pacific Ocean, from Indonesia to the Philippines and New Guinea.\n\nThe crocodile flathead is a medium-sized fish, growing to a maximum length of 50 cm (20 in). It has a flattened body with a duck-billed head and large, globular eyes. The body is covered with a mottled pattern of brown, green, and white scales. The fins are also mottled and have sharp spines.\n\nThe crocodile flathead is a nocturnal predator that ambushes its prey from the sand or rubble.

Crocodile Fish Cymbacephalus beauforti occurs in the tropical West Pacific in shallow waters from 1-12 m. The species, an ambush predator, lives on sand or rubble substrates of sheltered or semi-exposed reefs and is also found in coral reefs and mangrove areas. \nThe cirri (= leafy appendages above the eyes) break up the outline of the eye, so its much harder for their prey to spot them. Somehow looking a bit like a crocodile, this species is much smaller, the maximum length is 50 cm, but the common length is 35 cm.
