Located on northern Vancouver Island, the Little Huson Caves are known for its unique limestone rock formations.

Mosteiros, Flores Island, Azores, Portugal: Rocha dos Bordões, located in the parish of Mosteiros within the municipality of Lajes das Flores, is a striking geological formation characterized by towering vertical basalt columns, up to 20 meters high, formed through the rapid cooling of ancient lava flows approximately 570,000 years ago, resulting in prismatic hexagonal structures reminiscent of a massive pipe organ. Situated at Cabo Baixo das Casas, the site features cascading waterfalls from water courses descending the columns and nearby Águas Quentes, small pools of boiling sulfurous water at the base, all enveloped in lush endemic vegetation. Access is via a 1.4-mile out-and-back trail rated moderately challenging. Classified as a regional natural monument part of the Parque Natural das Flores, it exemplifies the island's volcanic heritage.
