Windhoek, Namibia: the double decker air traffic control tower at Hosea Kutako International Airport (HKIA), Namibia's primary international gateway 45 km east of Windhoek, was built in 1965 as part of the original infrastructure during South African administration. It manages traffic for the airport's two runways and features modern upgrades, including a Thales Eurocat system. Plans for a new tower are part of expansion projects to achieve ICAO 4F classification. Operated by Namibia Airports Company.
