The Nubian ibex (Capra nubiana) is a desert-dwelling goat species (Genus Capra) found in mountainous areas of northern and northeast Africa, and the Middle East. It was historically considered to be a subspecies of the Alpine ibex (C. ibex), but is now considered a distinct species. The wild population is estimated at 4,500 mature individuals, and it is classified as vulnerable.

Also known as the Indian Antelope, male Blackbuck are strikingly handsome animals with long, spiralling horns marked with rings and distinctly marked faces with white patches around their eyes. Their bodies have contrasting countershading, with white underparts against their dark back and legs. Females and juveniles are much less conspicuous, fawn in colour with white underparts which resemble the widespread Impala from Africa.

$The Mendes antelope or Addax (Addax nasomaculatus) is an African antelope from the horsebuck (Hippotragini) tribe. It was once common throughout the Sahara, but is now largely extinct, surviving only in small refuges, and is considered highly endangered.\n\nCharacteristics\nWith its short, yellow-brown to yellowish-white fur, the Mendes antelope is adapted to the color of the desert sand. The top of the skull is dark brown in color, and there is a light X-shaped pattern on the face. Longer, beard-like hairs grow on the throat. The hooves are broad and can be spread apart to prevent sinking into the sand. The animals reach a head trunk length of 1.1 to 1.3 meters, the tail is relatively short at 25 to 35 centimeters, and the shoulder height is 95 to 115 centimeters. The weight varies between 60 and 125 kilograms. Both sexes carry spirally twisted horns that can grow up to 110 centimeters long in males and 80 centimeters long in females.$
