London, England - January 11, 2016: Part of the front page of “The British Gazette” dated May 13th 1926, a newspaper published by His Majesty’s Stationary Office, a department of the British Government responsible for printed information, during the period of the General Strike. This was its final edition and it ran from 5th May - 13th May 1926 inclusive, comprising eight editions in total. It was a patriotic paper, very condemnatory of the strikers and a means of government propaganda, with a circulation of more than two million. A framed version of the Apostles’ Creed inside the pretty church of St Botolph in the village of Culpho, Suffolk, Eastern England.
