A person passing the ruined gatehouse of Bungay Castle in Bungay, Suffolk, Eastern England. The Norman castle keep was built by Hugh Bigod, Earl of Norfolk, in 1165 with the gatehouse being constructed around the late 13th century. The Inchmahome Priory was founded in 1238 on the largest island of Lake of Menteith, upstream of Stirling, to host a small community of the Augustinian order. Arriving by boat, tourists can now visit the old ruins, which conserves much of the original 13th-century structure.

The small, pretty, parish church of St Peter, in Shernborne, Norfolk, eastern England. Originally built c14th century, it was rebuilt in 1898 and paid for by the then Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII). Shernborne is not far from the country homes of Queen Elizabeth II (Sandringham) and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Anmer Hall), so the area is very popular with tourists.
