View of the 13.7-meter-tall colossal Buddha of Cave 20, an icon of Chinese art, excavated from the sandstone cliff at Yungang Grottoes, ancient Chinese Buddhist temple grottoes built during the Northern Wei dynasty near the city of Datong, in the province of Shanxi. They are excellent examples of rock-cut architecture and one of the three most famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites of China. The others are Longmen and Mogao.

Grotto No.18 was obviously f a little bit Gandhara style, which was the blending  western and eastern cultures. Grotto No.18 was the most luxurious grotto in Yungang. The face of statue in center was sculptured according to Emperor Taiwu of Northern Wei (Tuoba Tao).  The kasaya with thousands of Buddhas was memorized  the buddhists he killed in his region.
Divriği Great Mosque and Hospital is a mosque and hospital complex built in 1228–1229 by the local dynasty of the Mengujekids in the small Anatolian town of Divriği, now in Sivas Province, Turkey. The complex is located in the upper town, below the citadel. The exquisite stone carvings and eclectic architecture of the complex places it among the most important works of architecture in Anatolia and led to its inclusion on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1985.

Daci Pavilion is a landmark building in the center of Baoding. One of the classics of traditional architecture in northern China, it contains murals from the Qing Dynasty. Now it is China National Cultural Protection Bureau.
The major hall of the temple (in the picture)is the Great East Hall, built in 857 AD, during the Tang dynasty (618–907). According to architectural records, it is the third earliest preserved timber structure in China. Today the temple is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site and is undergoing restoration.
