Roskilde, Denmark - December 14, 2015: Interior of Christian IV's chapel in Roskilde Cathedral with the sarcophagi of king Christian IV of Denmark, his wife Anne Catherine of Brandenburg, his sons king Frederick III of Denmark with wife Sophie Amalie of Brunswick-Luneburg, and Christian, Prince-Elect of Denmark. The chapel was built in 1614-1641. The interior of the chapel was completed in 1870 including the frescoes by Heinrich Eddelien, and paintings with decor by Wilhelm Marstrand and Heinrich Hansen. The statue of Christian IV was created by Bertel Thorvaldsen.
