Veronica chamaedrys - Germander speedwell
Extreme close-up on this 2-3mm blue wild flower, with human fingers for scale. 50mm lens with 20mm extension tube. Despite its name, wall speedwell is common on grassland and heaths, usually on dry soils and throughout the UK. It seems to prefer light, slightly acid soils.
