Job was a very successful and wealthy family man. He was blameless in the sight of the Lord. The Lord allowed Satan to test Job, knowing that Job would remain faithful to Him. Job lost his family, his wealth, and his health. Even in the midst of his difficulties, he still believed that God was good. He had three friends who tried to counsel him on what he had done to cause God to punish him this way. In the end, God rewarded Job’s faithfulness and restored all that Job had lost twofold.
