It was built in 1640, The Apakh Hoja Mazar is an Islamic Hoja (sages’ descendents) mausoleum with the biggest scale and great influence in the territory of Xinjiang. The legend goes that fragrant concubine of the emperor Qianlong during the Qing Dynasty was buried here, thus the structure is also called Fragrant Concubine’s Tomb.
