Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres, a medieval Catholic cathedral in Chartres, France, about 80 kilometers southwest of Paris.
Jesus Christ with some of the saints depicted on the reredos in the Minster church of St Margaret, King’s Lynn, in Norfolk, Eastern England. The saints seen here are St Jerome, St Gregory, St Augustine and St Ambrose and, creepily, all the figures appear to be looking straight at the viewer. The reredos was designed and installed by GF Bodley in 1899 during renovation by Sir George Gilbert Scott. The church dates from 1101AD and was founded by Herbert de Losinga, Bishop of Norwich.
