I took a photo of the current state (as of August 2023) of the Osaka Expo site from the summit of Mount Rokko in Kobe, Japan. The construction has been significantly delayed beyond the original schedule, which makes me worry if the Expo can be held as planned.

Oslo, Norway, August 7, 1986. The bow of the ship entering the very long Oslo Fjord, which extends for about 100 km. It is morning and the deck and the equipment of the ship are wet from the sea spray and humidity.
Greens Ledge Lighthouse was constructed at the western edge of a shoal extending from Sheffield Island.  The lighthouse was completed in 1902 and rises 100 feet above Long Island Sound.  The light is an aid to mariners entering Norwalk Harbor just off the coast of Connecticut.  The Greens Light Preservation acquired the lighthouse and it has undergone extensive renovations and restoration.  Today the lighthouse can be visited and enjoyed by the public.
