This is a horizontal, color photograph of an angel on O'Connell Street in Dublin. The statue is part of the O'Connell Monument created by sculptor John Henry Foley. Foley died prior to completion leaving his assistant, Thomas Brock to finish the monument in the late 1800s. The angel represents victory and looks towards the Neo Classical architecture that lines the thoroughfare.
