Bottom center, the triumphal arch of Septimius Severus, along the Sacred Way, and the facade of the church of San Giuseppe at the Mamertine Prison, where the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul were locked up before their martyrdom. The Palatine Hill, one of the seven ancient hills of Rome, it is the place where important imperial palaces stood, such as the Domus Flavia and the Domus Augustana.
