In the south of Turkey, there are ancient clinics on Kekova Island, near Kaş District, and in its immediate vicinity. There are many architectural ruins in Kekova. What makes the island so interesting are the submerged ruins. These ruins can easily be seen in windless weather in the calm sea. The connection with these structures is by steps carved into the rock. Rising sea levels or natural changes in the earth’s crust from earthquakes submerged these remains in the sea. Another structure in Kekova Island, whose function was identified, is the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Period church situated in the Tersane Bay.
