Sorbus hybrida (Swedish service tree) is a species of whitebeam native to Scandinavia in Norway, eastern Sweden, and southwestern Finland, and locally in the Baltic States in Latvia.
Shrub or small Tree, 2-10m tall, branches usually spiny. Leaves wedge shaped, deeply 3-7 lobed. Flowers white or sometimes pinkish, 8-15mm, styles generally 1. Berry red with a mealy exterior, 8-10mm, oval in outline, containing a single Stone fruit.\nHabitat: Woodland, Shrub, Hedgerows, rough grassy Places, Heaths and Moors, Lowland and Upland. \nFlowering Season: May-June.\nDistribution: Throughout Europe, except the extreme North.\n\nThe Species is known as Herbal Medicine.\n\nThis is a second bloom in autumn 2022.
