The Prospect of Whitby is a historic public house on the banks of the Thames at Wapping in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The pub, built in 1520, is the oldest riverside tavern.

Centuries old and still standing, the Old Wellington Inn \nManchester City Centre in the north of England.By some miracle it avoided the onslaught of the second world war when much of Manchester was destroyed. It has been moved around a bit over the years, but now has a permanent home nestling by the side of the equally ancient and historic Manchester Cathedral.
