The Jesus Path of Csíksomlyó, known as the Calvary, is Transylvania's most renowned outdoor Stations of the Cross, adorned with stone crosses and reliefs depicting the Passion of Christ. Pilgrims traverse this path with deep devotion during the Pentecost pilgrimage at Csíksomlyó, praying at each station that marks Jesus' suffering, leading up to the Salvator Chapel atop Kissomlyó Hill's western slope amidst pine forests. The Calvary was first documented in 1834.
