East Pyne Hall is a historic building located on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey.\n\nIt is an iconic example of Collegiate Gothic architecture, a prevalent style on Princeton's campus. It features a distinctive facade with Tudor-style elements, including pointed arches, intricate stone carvings, and ornate detailing.\n\nThe building was completed in 1897 and originally served as the university's library. It was named in honor of Moses Taylor Pyne, a prominent Princeton benefactor. Over the years, East Pyne Hall has housed various academic departments and administrative offices, including the Department of History and the Program in Linguistics.

Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA - March 1, 2024: The Harvard Lampoon building (sometimes referred to as the Lampoon Castle) is a historic building in Cambridge, which is best known as the home of The Harvard Lampoon. The building was constructed at 44 Bow Street not far from Harvard Yard. Designed by Edmund M. Wheelwright, it was first opened in 1909. Wheelwright had attended Harvard University and was one of the founders of the Harvard Lampoon. The Harvard Lampoon publication was founded in 1876 by seven undergraduates at Harvard University who were inspired by popular magazines like Punch (1841) and Puck (1871). The Harvard Lampoon is the world's third longest-running continually published humor magazine. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Side view of the building.
