Gunnera manicata (giant rhubarb) leaves.  The leaves of G. manicata grow to an impressive size. The image was captured in a botanical garden during springtime.

Acacia baileyana, also called Cootamundra waffle, is a large evergreen shrub or small tree, adorned with a wide-spreading canopy and weeping branches, clothed in feathery, finely cut, blue-gray leaves. The foliage remains appealing all year round. In late winter to early spring, clouds of bright golden-yellow, small, rounded flowers held in axillary racemes cover the branches and create a striking floral display. As some photos show, it is a great plant for slopes and banks.\nThese photos were taken on a very windy day in spring.

The Kanuka (Kunzea ericoides) Tea Tree flower in bloom on a Tea Tree in differential focus.\n\nAlthough kanuka honey is not as well-known internationally as manuka, it actually contains more of the antiseptic properties than manuka. Both Manuka & Manuka honeys are thought to be so potent at healing infections that many hospitals around the world are now turning to them. New Zealand's plant life is to Kiwis, something that is iconically New Zealand. Many of these plants native environments are indigenous only to New Zealand/ Aotearoa.

Here you see the plant with his fruits instead of his flowers This strange, grey, woody eggs are waiting for someone to eat them, par example an elephant. After chewing and swallowing the seeds will come back in the soil and form new plants Here they cut them and plant the seeds.
