Enkianthus Perulatus is a genus of shrubs or small trees native to Japan.

A single, white inflorescence of a Chilean endemic species of Escallonia (Escallonia revoluta), that has no common English name, and is a close relative of the the Redclaws (Escallonia rubra), a species that has colonised gardens worldwide.

I painted acrylic colors on white paper and I folded the paper together similar to the rorschach inkblot method that create the texture of mixed acrylic colors.

Rhaphiolepis indica, commonly known as India hawthorn, is a dense, broad-leaved evergreen shrub that typically grows to 4-6’ tall and as wide. Native to southern China, it grows in other Asian countries, including Japan, and Australia. It features serrate, oblong, dak-green leaves. Fragrant, white to light pink flowers bloom in spring in clusters. Flowers are followed by small dark blue berries.

Mountain laurel thicket in subdued light, deep in the woods of Mount Tom State Park in Connecticut. An evergreen shrub in the heath family, mountain laurel is Connecticut's and Pennsylvania's state flower, and Mount Tom is one of the oldest Connecticut state parks. Sometimes these shrubs form impenetrable thickets. In New England, mountain laurel blooms in June.
