Construction of part of the Thames Tideway ‘super-sewer’ which is being built for 16 miles (25km) beneath the River Thames in London in order to catch, store and convey any sewage and rainwater which currently pollutes the river on occasions. It is due to be completed in 2024 and will run from Acton in West London to Abbey Mills in East London. This section is beside the Victoria Embankment near the Palace of Westminster.
