Low evergreen, hairless, creeping perennial. leaves opposite, oval to rounded, short-stalked, gland-dotted. Flowers yellow, 12-18mm, solitary, cup-shaped with wide sepal-lobes, the petals dotted with fine black glands. Capsule rarely produced.\nHabitat: Wet places, streams margins, ditches, open woodland, damp grassy hedgerows and lake-shores.\nFlowering Season: May-July.\nDistribution: Throughout Europe, except the extreme North and Iceland. Widely cultivated in gardens.\n\nThe Plant is known as Herbal Medicine.

Argemone Mexicana, also known as Mexican Prickly Poppy, is an upright, prickly, annual or perennial, boasting its bright yellow, poppy-like flowers, with numerous yellow or reddish stamens. Blooming for weeks from mid-spring to early summer, the showy flowers sit atop slightly prickly stems. The bluish-green leaves are toothed, spiny and adorned with gray-white veins.

Limnanthes douglasii is a species of annual flowering plant in the family Limnanthaceae  known as Douglas' meadowfoam or poached egg plant.
