Villers-la-Ville, Belgium - September 7, 2014: The Abbaye de Villers is an ancient Cistercian abbey founded in 1146. Since the late eighteenth century, when it was abandoned, the abbey began to fall into ruins, but it remains an outstanding historic site, with its imposing vaulting, arches and rose windows. A person passing the ruined gatehouse of Bungay Castle in Bungay, Suffolk, Eastern England. The Norman castle keep was built by Hugh Bigod, Earl of Norfolk, in 1165 with the gatehouse being constructed around the late 13th century.
