The statue of the Dacian king Decebalus is a 40-meter-high sculpture, and therefore the tallest rock sculpture in Europe. It is located on the rocky shore of the Danube, near the city of Orșova, Romania.\n\nThe idea came from the Romanian businessman Iosif Constantin Drăgan, a historian who took ten years (1994-2004) and employed twelve sculptors to finish it, at a cost of more than one million dollars.\n\nRight in front of the statue, but on the Serbian coast, facing Romania, there is an ancient commemorative plaque (Tabula Traiana) to remember the victories of the Roman Empire over the kingdom of Dacia in the year 105.\n\nUnder Decebalus's face there is a Latin inscription that says: DECEBALUS REX - DRAGAN FECIT ('King Decebalus - Made by Drăgan').\n\nCurrently, in Romania it is pronounced \

Panoramic view of San Francisco from atop of Twin Peaks. Twin Peaks is 925 feet high an is located near the geographic center of San Francisco.  Before the arrival of Europeans it may have used as a lookout by the Ohlone people. The area provided medicinal or ceremonial plants, grains, and  berries. It was named Twin Peaks in the 19th Century.

Mount Denali (formerly Mount McKinley) towering above the Great Gorge of the Ruth Glacier, Denali National Park, Alaska, USA. Mount Denali is the highest peak in North America with an elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. The colorful mountain in the foreground is Mt Dickey (9,545 ft /2,909 m) notable for its east face, which has a vertical mile (1600 m) of sheer granite. This is one of the tallest rock walls in the world.
