Series of 6 colourful, sweeping vistas of the rich agricultural Mitteland of Western Switzerland between the ancient Jura Mountains and the much younger European Alps to the east. The Weissenstein Ridge, from which these shots are all taken rises dramatically from the Eastern fringes of the Jura above the town of Oberdorf and the larger industrial city of Solothurn both of which can be seen all the images except the last one, which is looking the other way. The images were all taken shortly after dawn in July 2023 and are rare simply because this part of Switzerland is less well known than the tourist resorts in the Alps.
