British WW2 Child’s 'Mickey Mouse’ Gas Mask. These were issued to all UK toddlers, the bright colours were designed to help turn using the mask into a game to keep the child calm and want to put (and keep) it on. Fortunately the Luftwaffe never dropped any gas bombs on Britain during the Blitz and these were never used.
