Its layout consists of a long corridor, divided by pilasters into several sections, leading to a pillared hall, from which a second long corridor descends to the burial chamber.

The Feira Franca, declared of Tourist Interest in Galicia in 2013, and one of the most important period festivals in As Rías Baixas. This celebration commemorates an event that happened in 1467, when King Henry IV granted citizens the privilege of being able to celebrate a tax-free market for a month.\n\nThe town of Pontevedra immerses itself fully in the Middle Ages for two days of festivities in which master craftsmen, blacksmiths, carpenters, redeiras, palilleiras and musicians parade through the most emblematic streets and squares of the town on the Lérez River. This celebration, for which citizens and visitors prepare their clothing and organize medieval banquets, presents a program with all kinds of activities.

Trade, communication, agriculture, water and now tourism provide the essential ingredients of life - from the Upper Nile and its cataracts, along its fertile banks to the Lower Nile and Delta. In many ways life has not changed for centuries, with transport often relying on the camel on land and felucca on the river
